A Great StoryI love reading about Salem and her journey. Staying true to her faith and moving forward. To stop drinking is hard. But she does it and solves a murder too. Please another story, but longer.
ExcellentFor an excellent example of what Christmas can mean to so many of us, with a little murder mystery thrown in. Also a touch of humor added and some love!
I always love Trailer Park Princess storiesThis story was a perfect read for me just before Christmas. A murder to solve, a Christmas extravaganza, laughs and tears. Kim Hunt Harris shows our brokenness, but also how we can be lifted up from it. Just the message we need.
It's Christmastime and the season is especially meaningful for several residents of the Trailertopia trailer park. Its a time to be thankful for another day of sobriety and God's forgiveness and redemption. The Trailertopia Christmas Festivities are in full swing when one of the residents is found dead in his trailer. His ongoing feuds with many of his neighbors cast suspicions on several, especially a young couple portraying Mary and Joseph in the Posada. Things get dicey when Salem sets out to...
Great combination of hilarity and mystery and faith! This delightful novella that is hysterical passages you will want to read aloud to friends. I appreciate the way the author Incorporated the characters Christian faith without being sappy. A story you will want to keep to read again and again.
This whole series is captivating and uplifting. Going with our heroine as she handles her recovery while confronting all the stressors that pop out at her -- and making through one day at a time -- gives hope to everyone who has to learn to "accept the things they cannot change," find the "courage to change the things they can," and recognize that they have "the wisdom to know the difference." That said (ewww, I really don't like that phrase but there it is), this is definitely a must-read. Sale...
A really fun read! The story is set in a trailer park, although one of the nicer ones, with real people who have real problems that they have dealt with. Refreshing to read about characters who don't live in 2 story houses in posh neighborhoods. This is a lighthearted series that moves right along. Give it a shot.
It's Christmas time in Trailortopia. All the residents are decorating their yards, and holding a Posada. When Salem and Viv discover one of them has been murdered. Suspicion immediately falls on one of the people who have had an ongoing feud with them. Salem knows he is innocent and starts investigating on her own. When she discovers who the real killer is she needs a Christmas Miracle of her own to make it out alive.
A Trailer Park Princess Christmas is very sweet.Starting this week, I promised myself I would read going but Christmas stories for the rest of the year. This was a very nice way to start off. Sweet story and lots of heartbreak and a happy ending or as happy as life can be. I enjoyed it and am sure of it's general appeal. Merry Christmas!
Comedy Comedy and murder don't seem to mix and yet Kim Hunt Harris makes them work well. Every book in this series grabbed my interest and kept it. I look forward to what will be next.
A tear jerker of a story but perfectly in keeping with other Trailer Park Princess tales. It’s a short murder mystery with thrills, humor, real life problems, and a touch of sweet romance.
Enjoyed this book very much. Great characters, funny, good plot that moved, and a few twist that was unexpected. Will try more from this author.
Gold, Frankincense, & Murder is a Trailer Park Princess holiday novella. The residents of Trailertopia in Lubbock, Texas are gearing up for their Christmas Festival. Salem's new AA friends Amy and Brent, good friend Frank, grumpy George, Howard the manager, and Samantha the secretary are all participating. Of course Tony, Viv, and Stump are there too. Salem and Viv go to George's trailer to find out why he hasn't arrived yet. Unfortunately the two sleuths find him dead! Of course that brings Hom...
Salem and Ivy were so busy with the "Posada" that they didn't realize that one person's lights were not lite. Now as they find his lifeless body in his home they must prove who killed him because a nice young couple are being accused of his murder. Christmas time is not a good time for an innocent young couple expecting their first baby soon to be in jail. A christian mystery.
Kim Harris Hunt, Frankincense, Gold and MurderA well written holiday story with all the love, joy, sadness and pain of the Christmas holidays. This story runs the gamut on emotions, from humor to deep sadness to desperation, keeping the reader glued to the pages.Another good story from Trailertopia and our favorite characters. Ms. Hunt tells a good story.
This novella was my favorite. Doing the right thing tugged at your heart strings. I also liked the snippet we were shone of Salem and Tony's marriage. The only negative, the author needs better proofreaders. You can't just reply on Spellcheck. I'd be happey to assist.
Christmas at the trailer parkA murder, a nativity play, a runaway donkey, Christmas carols. This story is funny and moving and tragic all at the same time.
Salem saves Christmas from a runaway donkey!Delightfull Christmas story. The author tells a great story, throw in a donkey who takes Salem on a wild ride, whoops another murder, and some everyday things That make us all laugh and say yes she could be my neighbor. You can read the books in any order,. So check them out and you'll find yourself cheering for Salem and looking for the next in this series.
They Came Bearing GiftsWish one of the gifts was the next book in the series. As with the potato chip commercial, you are ready for the next. I was reaching for straws when I found this novella. I have loved the character development throughout Ms. Harris's books and her deftly turning story line. Feel as though we are family especially with beloved Stump. I am ready for the next book. Thank you, Kim Hunt Harris.
