In addition to recipes, the Challenge incorporates the philosophy of mindful eating. So every day I’ll remind you to take your time to enjoy a nutritious meal. Here’s the core of mindful eating.

- Select foods that are nutritionally healthy.
- Listen to your body. Eat when you are hungry and stop before you are full.
- Take your time when eating and focus only on eating.
- Create a pleasant and distraction-free environment when eating.
- Engage your senses – notice colors, sounds, textures, tastes.
- Appreciate your food.
