In addition to the eponymous Pig of the title, Wilbur , there are coons in the cupboards, cows in the cornfield and calves in the doghouse, plus the usual golden retrievers so necessary to a lifestyle where duck hunting was why we were put on this earth! The author muses, These stories are only a few of the many adventures that centered on our madcap days at Limerick, where we thought we lived a somewhat normal life . . . just in the country.
