Without a doubt, this series is the next big thing!Individually, Michael and Martha are fantastic authors, but together they approach, if not surpass, G*dDa*m F**king PHENOMENAL. Let that thought just sit and percolate for a moment. Now, moving on, I should also point out that they apparently let their inner sadists take some time off for Christmas, as the story ends with a nice neat package, properly wrapped and even with a bow on top of it, type of conclusion. These two have the mischievous sp...
GreatIdina has finished Boot Camp with a few episodes that she doesn't understand or know what to do with it. Now at Camp Banning to earn her wings she's had more green episodes. She's also been threatened by something in a dream and during a jump. She's been told she's not crazy, its real. Idina wants answers and to find her brother. Great job. Thank you. Looking forward to the next book in this seriezs.
Well someoneHas been around the Big Green Army Machine to have the details down pat. I always thought only idiots and bird doo fell out of the sky, then I made my first jump. Hop that means I was only an idiot.
Great New seriesI liked both books. Idina has emerging power she doesn't understand. The description of army jump school was captivating. Hope it was accurate. Lots of action and a great story. Hopefully Idea will show more understanding of her powers in the next book.
I enjoy the premise of the book. But this series has been moving way too slow for me. The first and second books in this series could have been condensed to one book. As both of them have only followed the main character's military training. And have yet to explore much of the main character's mysterious powers.
Safe to say I really like Military based stories. It sure makes for an interesting read.Again, I really hope Idina is gay hehehe.
Ft Benning!I spent part of my childhood at Ft Benning, and remember going to watch the noobs at the jump tower. Not that I EVER got near it, but it was fun reading about Idina and her adventures. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one. Hopefully she continues to enjoy her time in the Army and finds out what her family members have been hiding from her all her life.
This was a fun read ... Absolutely no romance, but what book is perfect. Lol!
Idina moves on from basic training to training to jump out of planes. It's a three-week course. Her roommate is stand-offish. Idina is still concerned about the strange green things she sees but she's also concerned about surviving jumping from a plane five times. Day and night jumping. The story does a really good job of the types of things that a paratrooper has to go through in order to get his or her wings and all that is quite interesting. The 'green' problem rachets up dramatically, though,...
