I enjoyed this book much more than the previous one, in fact this was more like the earlier books in the series, things were actually happening. If possible I would have given 4.5 stars.
Absolutely amazing! This series just keeps getting better. A lost tribe of humans and *another* alien race have now been added to the list. Will it ever end? I certainly hope not. Keep up the good work, Bob, because your stories are terrific!
One to many booksI stopped a third of the way through. I liked this series, gave first few five stars. However think series has jumped the shark. I stop and started book, after third time came back to book I asked did I care anymore about the characters? What if drop it now would I miss it? In the last 30 days I've read books on series over 10 books, about half have THE same problem too. I thank the author for so very good reads will keep an eye out for anything new. Best of luck
An Acceptable Addition to the Series The storyline in this installment has less tech story threads and is oriented into more socio/political themes, mostly okay though a bit of idealism does color all of it. Continued character development for existing characters but not much for newly introduced characters. Ends well, leaving room for another installment but providing a decent ending for this one.
Have really enjoyed reading this series so far!Awaiting the next book to see what happens next . One wish longer books more pages reading the story is too quick maybe I will reread all the books again .
A series that has a bit of everything People that you like , adventure, hope , helping the growth of people, and of course seeing new worlds, and a lot of starships that may be out there or not.
What dtvelI'm sick of sci fi authors, wasting the reader's time with kissy smoochy relationship sub plots that go no where and add nothing to the story, if I wanted to read this sort of drivel I would have got a romance
One more to add to this enjoyable series Not quite a 5-star rating more a 4.5. The good points were it was an engaging story and a fair mystery, the central character is finally growing into an adult so less teenage angst. The story also introduces some interesting potential plot points which may be developed in the future with luck. The slight negatives, the author does have a tendency to use his books to put forward his political views but to be honest science fiction has often been used in thi...
short and unrealistic There are spoilers in this review. .............. I found this book to be the worst one yet. The main character starts a relationship within a week of meeting him. Aside from the fact she was the ambassador to his world and the conflict of interest that poses, she even comments acts of espionage against his world. True it was to help but honestly… this whole book is just inorganic and seems forced. She also engages in military actions on his world. And this is considered ok...
Why I love this seriesWow well I read the first book in the Delphi series by Bob Blanton then the second found my self binge reading the first 12 books of them in 3 days excellent plot space battles and great comedy slipped in sometimes angry sometimes laughing but never boring and best part the female character starts as a genius 14 year old young lady so there is the big surprise enjoyed this series only thing is I Want More In This Series asap so Mr. Bob Blanton get going sir your newest fan
Great Book, Great SeriesCatie is returning to Earth when their ship drops out of FTL. It seems that a huge explosion that tore a moon apart also disrupted their wormhole. Mystery ensures as they try to find out what happened and who is responsible. Rescuing a disabled space ship brings the bonus of a handsome prince. Catie's heart rate goes up. Will she finally find romance? I like the action, humor, mystery, and romance. I look forward to another book.
Princess Caity Rocks!Another awesome installment in the mind blowing Delphi saga! I’m already hoping and waiting for the next one! The plot was very interesting and, of course, the characters are like our own family & best friends. Read the entire series and this book, you WILL be sooo glad that you did! :)
A sci-fi diversionBook 12 present new challenges and interesting twists as the earth explorers encounter a new civilization that may be quite old. The characters experience realities of young adulthood on and around a planet quite similar to earth. I can’t wait for the next chapter.
Will not disappointThe adventures of Catie McCormack continues with the disruption of travel through a wormhole. New friends and enemies and a space war results and there is a surprising twist. The usual multiple storylines from previous episodes and characters maintains your interests in the Delphi Universe.
CatieEach book Gets more interesting and involved. The growth of Catie From an adolescent From an adolescent too a teenager is realistic and well thought outPlease continue the series
Another great book. This book was a fun read. I enjoyed the new civilization and it's connection with Earth. I like the interaction between Catie and Nikitas, that was cute and funny. I like that Catie finally got a boyfriend. I look forward to more of the series.
News from the front linesCatie finds her ship diverted by powerful explosion causing her wormhole to collapse she's surprised to find the unknown system inhabited! And an alien ship caught in the explosion calling for help! Another enter training tale fronm the DELPHI series.
Book 12 in the series Picks up the story where book 11 ends. Catie and the crew get knocked out of their wormhole into an unknown planetary system and discover a ship in distress. The action takes off from there. Well written with interesting world building. A great read.
Delphi Diversion book 12This book was as good/fun/entertaining as book 11. I enjoyed it so much I have started binge reading the series. Unless the author can come up with an exceptional plot twist. I think this series is only good for one more book to tie lose ends.up
Another excellent addition to the storyline!Catie has really come into her own place. She plans incursions into enemy settings and assists in devising ways to bring the bad guys to their knees. I'm really looking forward to the next book!
