A TOTALLY AWESOME READ!!Another non-stop read!! Emma is back home again and things just don't make sense. Sam is trying to help her. But so much of what she learns just adds more confusion. Emma finally learns, that her father is actually has a twin. Not only that, Emma winds up in trouble herself!! A read, that will be very hard to put down, to the very end!! Only leaving the reader wanting more!!
Another Unputdownable Race to the FinishIf you're anything like me, a binge reader, you will stay up late to keep turning the page. More questions arise than answers and every clue leads to another. The rabbit hole is deep in this series! I look forward to each book as it brings us closer to the exhilarating conclusion that untangles the mysteries of Emma's parents death and disappearance, in that order.
A good story. Some of the ‘good’ characters do things that don’t seem logical to me. I did enjoy it but was ready for it to be over!
Book 6 in the Emma Griffin series is just as thrilling as I had hoped. A.J. Rivers has created a diverse group of characters and in this book, continues to give insights into the histories of many of them. She brilliantly develops a fascinating story, discloses even more of their perspectives, and adds more mystery to the protagonists at the same time. I look forward to each new book from this extraordinary author and am always engrossed by her stories. I finish each book with one thought - how
Cliffhanger Number 6I was so confused with so many travels back in time it made it hard for me to stay up to speed. If I hadn't read every book in order, I would have been totally lost. I think I have come to the conclusion too much background covered over and over bogs down rather than enhances. I didn't realize that it would take 7 books to bring closure for Agent Emma Griffin.
I’m completely addicted to this seriesI’m hoping the next book comes out soon because this one has the biggest cliffhanger so far. I’m trying not to give anything away. You definitely will not be disappointed. I’m feeling just as eager as Emma to find Catch Me, Ian and the Uncle.
"There is no justice when someone is murdered."The Girl and the Hunt is book 6 in the Emma Griffin FBI mysteries and we are finally getting answers about Emma's family. This book unlike the other books in the series has little short chapters where we get to see other's points of view. During these points of view, we get to see things from the past, that help us learn more about Emma's stalker and her trying to find out what happened to her dad. We also have her back in Feathered Nest where this
Book 6 was a little better than the last few. At least the story made sense and the characters weren't just there for fluff. I still hate how the Chief in Feathered Nest is written to behave. And I'm not a fan of Emma's attitude toward Nicholas. He doesnt seem like a bad guy but for an FBI agent she is incredibly unprofessional toward him. The story itself was much more smooth and fast-going this time. I didnt have to struggle forward as I did with the last few. However , the end up abrupt and a...
Too many story linesOverall this author has good writing skills however I am not enthralled with this series. There are way too many story line. I consider myself an average reader and prefer books that have way less crooks and crannies in them. This book would have been a page turner with only half the information provided and limited to four or five books. The main characters would do well in another series of books though on another topic. The way these books are written do not make sense to
Good seriesI love this series. The main characters are well developed. The storyline is good and each book reveals a little more about Emma's mysterious background. She cleverly solves the current case while never giving up on finding her mother's killer, and solve the mystery surrounding her missing father and Greg. This book seemed a little harder to follow. New characters were introduced and others identified. I'm so ready for the answers to be revealed. I hope that the final book is released...
Book number 6 down. After the last book (the train book) I was very confused and almost ready to quit reading. This one definitely was WAY better! It helped piece together Emma’s story and how her Dad and Mom left. It’s still not the finale but you are starting to get all the different story plots pieced together. Going back to Feathered Nest…realizing the necklace doesn’t fit, the connection with Dean Steele the investigator on the train, Finding Greg….how will it end? Is Emma’s Dad Ian alive?
The words that taunted FBI Agent Emma Griffin on the blood-soaked train ride from Sherwood continue to follow her.Drawn to Feathered Nest, she discovers that the horror is far from over and whoever is behind the dare has no intention of his brutal game slowing down any time soon. While in Feathered Nest, she revisits Cabin 13 to figure out the truth behind the necklace and search for more clues to discover the secret of the dead man that she found on its doorstep. As she tugs the threads of the my...
Emma Chases a Serial Killer, More of her Early Life is RevealedAfter her and Sheriff Johnson’s baring train ride, she is once again in the town of Feathered Nest albeit with her friend/ love interest Sheriff Johnson. She is here to try to catch the Serial Killer, “Catch Me” whose focus is playing a deadly game with her. The woman whose name was used to lure Emma on the train is brutally murdered there and the Emma’s ex-boyfriend is found on her lawn in Virginia nearly dead. One family secret tha...
Another murder has occurred in Feathered Nest, VA and a cryptic note left for Emma Griffin. The dead woman was Marren Purcell who sent a note to Emma along with the train ticket. Emma calls the person “Catch Me” and tells Sheriff Sam Johnson there are two unknowns out there. A photo of one looks like her father but has a different facial scar than her father and she reminds Sam of the birth certificate indicating multiple births. She had no idea her father was a twin and has never met her uncle....
Wow, what a plot!I'm getting dizzy trying to figure out what's going on. What a tightly woven plot. I'm beginning to think Emma has a completely different father than she thinks. Who is Steele and does his connection go deeper? Will Greg survive? If he does, is he the key that will bring everything together! I can't wait to read this last book. More twists and turns than a rollercoaster.
