Another Fun Golden Books adaption of a Star Wars film.
I've always loved the illustrations in these Little Golden SW books, and realizing that some of the serious movie scenes lend themselves to sanitizing what happens or is said, I know that some parts will be glossed over. But this one took out several of the movie's interesting parts. Still, it was good.
After reading this, I was reminded of how disappointing the movie was. That aside, this was a nicely done quick version of the story, which is perfect for a child who is just getting into the Star Wars universe. Of course, I would hope you parents out there start them off with the other trilogy, first!
I am giving it 1 star because there is an inappropriate artwork on page 21. Also, the story throws too much info in for the average kid, and some of its not relevant. They need to Tim Gunn it and EDIT, EDIT, EDIT!!!!!
