Another fun addition to Ms. Peterman's Good to the Last Death series. Daisy has so much on her plate that even I got confused a couple of times while reading but it manages to answer the question of the big cliffhanger from book #1. I laughed and I teared up a little, too, with Daisy's Gram. The characters are quirky and some are becoming amazing in their own right. I'm on to the next book in the series.
All I can say is I LOVED this book! I am extremely appreciative that Daisy and Gideon's relationship bump didmt drag out to the next book. I laughed until I cried and cried until laughter kicked in. The mark of a great author is when I'm annoyed I can't immediately read the next book because I have to wait for the release date! I feel like I'm fangirling here but I can't help it.. I just simply love this series and I can't wait for book 3.
Captures you heartDaisy is back and willing to do anything to help Steve. Even if it means contacting the Grim Reaper. You’ll laugh, cry, and laugh a whole lot more. Daisy and the rest of the quirky, lovable characters in her life will capture your heart. Need to see what happens next!
PerfectThis book had me hooked from page 1 to the end.The characters, the situations definitely not what I was expecting! Plenty of twists and turns throughout. But WOW what a bloody ending holy hell... I didn’t even realise I was on the last page the end of the book was that good and had me hooked.
Truly enjoyable! This midlife crisis installment had me sad, mad, laughing and crying, can’t get much better than that in my opinion!
Love itSecond book in the series and it's better than the first. I've learned so many new phrases. Love the snark.
Who’s Midlife Crisis is it Anyway by Robyn Peterman 2nd book in the Good to the Last Death series. Paranormal women’s fiction. Best by in series order. Last chapter from book 1 is the first chapter in book 2. (Love that!) cliffhanger. Daisy will do whatever is necessary to protect her ex husband from the dark side of afterlife. That includes seeking out the Grim Reaper and taking back her power to help the dead and glueing on their appendages. Some laugh out loud moments, some moments a bit sad,...
This is a laugh out loud funny book! I woke my husband up several times with my laughter. Daisy is a just turned 40-year old widow of one year that begins seeing ghosts. At first, she thinks she's crazy. It takes a while for her to discover that much, much more is going on. As her house is quickly filled up with the ghosts, she talks with her grandmother and discovers that it is a family "job" to deal with these ghosts, generations of the women in her family have helped ghosts reach their final
After discovering that she's the latest in a long line of death counselors in her family in book 1 of the Good To the Last Death series, Daisy is back, and dealing with the fall out of the events of the last story.Daisy's focus is 100% on saving Steve's soul, and that requires gathering all of the key players, including the man she fell deeply in love with, and then sent away.I really loved Whose Midlife Crisis is it Anyway? - it was filled with amazing characters that make Daisy's life so much
Fantastic! This series is great – full of heart, snark, laughs, and some tears. Book two continues on Daisy’s journey into her new life as a Death Counselor – or is she? When we left her in book one, she’d quit the Death Counselor gig and made a huge mistake to save her best friend. Now she has to figure out how to fix things for Steve and for herself. Her heart may be broken, but things still need to be done. With or without Gideon. There are far more laughs than tears, but this book really hit
Loved ItI loved this book. It only took me a couple of hours to finish it. I don't know how I will be able to wait for the next book!
Love, Laugh, & DeadLaughed and cried! Loved this book! Couldn’t put it down. Tim might be one of my favorite characters! Love all the characters.
Daisy is working to figure out her job as Death Counselor.
