The artwork is stil great and it was nice seeing a wheelchair user in a comic, but nothing really happens in this issue.
Yeah, I think I'm done with this series. It's not really for me.
More of a 3.5 star rating for this comic issue.I really like that most of my questions got answered in these several pages but also things were left open for more to be revealed. I also adore how open and accepting Chulita’s family is.
This just isn't for me.

"The last issue introduced us to the world that b.b. has grown up into. Living in a swamp, she somehow managed to find music that speaks to her soul. And in b.b. free #2, she’s starting to move towards making that her whole life.Powers and puberty seem to go hand and hand in the world of comic books. And yet this is not your ordinary coming of age tale. b.b. free is a dynamic and compelling series about a girl who desperately wants to find herself. And she wants to be free to love the music that...
it gets better. <3
Cute af; lots of representation; and it has my new favorite catch phrase “What in the Willow Smith...?!” 😂💕
LOVED:✰ b.b. being a lil trans✰ cool futuristic accessibility devices (specifically go-kart-esque wheelchairs)✰ the art in general✰ fractured states of america map!!✰ “Buttercup! Hard femme gator.”DIDN’T LOVE:✰ i still don't really understand what's going on with b.b.'s power's✰ that's it that's the list
Three stars because 27 pages just isn't enough. For someone who loves novels and trilogies and series, I just can't understand why I'd only want a book with 27 pages! However, this concept is interesting and the artwork is lush. I'm ready for more b.b. free.
This was definitely not long enough!!! I wanted it to go on forever! B.B. Free finally meets Chulita and we get to meet their family and OH MY GOSH I WANT SO MUCH MORE!!!
Nothing really happened but it looked nice.
Unfortunately I don't think that this series of graphic novels is for me. I loved the first one but thus one just didn't make sense to me for me it was all over the place. However I love the art style and that's why I gave it 2 stars. Unfortunately I won't be reading any more volumes in this series.
- The art is so beautiful- So much divesity!- Can't wait to know where the story is going
This comic is AMAZING...Issue #2 follows up the events that happen in issue #1. I wish I could say more, but I'm so fearful of spoilers. Some key things that I loved about this issue was the exploration of the relationship and friendship between B.B. and Chulita. After everything that B.B. experienced in the first issues, I was so happy to see such a supportive relationship. Chulita helps B.B. process everything and so easily welcomes B.B. into their home and family with open arms. The artwork i...
chulita’s family makes me so happy aaa !!
it's gets better but still......weird, i really enjoy the artwork but the rest is a mess.
These are such short issues - I wish they were longer! The art is beautiful and the characters are awesome. This is the kind of story that shows how easy inclusion is and that you don't have to be heavy-handed in having characters from underrepresented backgrounds. Definitely intrigued with these powers and where the story is going!
I wish these chapters were longer! I feel like we're finally starting to really establish a plot, and I'm excited to see where things go from here. Loving the teen characters who want to strike out on their own. Got a little glimpse that the main character could identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, which is cool as well. I need to know now about b.b.'s power! Sad to have to wait for another issue to release
