A SHADOW OF A DOUBT: THE STORIES SO FAR

A SHADOW OF A DOUBT: THE STORIES SO FAR

Jill Roberts
0/5 ( ratings)
The stimulating stories in this book are the culmination of nearly a decade of attending creative writing classes to prise me away from the TV. Not having quite enough stamina to write a novel at the time I felt that these plots and stories were too good to throw away or lay dormant in a drawer.

The stories are written in modern English with a few old pieces of terminology thrown in to add spice to the mixture. They range from the humorous to murder to outright horror, one or two may even make you think twice hence “A Shadow of a Doubt”. Tales of social fiction that will appeal to both sexes aged from fifteen to eighty. “From Horbury To Orlando” was written from the perspective of my eldest son when he was aged 14.
Several of the stories are set in and around West Yorkshire in the U.K. with Wakefield at the centre of the action. The final story “Creeper” is located in the South of the USA, “Redneck Country” where anything can happen – and does.

If you would like to know what happens next in Creeper please read the full length novel: THE HUMMING PULSE now available on Amazon Kindle.
