WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN BUCKAROO?!Someone is killing residents of Buckaroo who have tried to leave town and start over with new identities. And somehow Warren, aka Nailbiter, is in the thick of the mystery. But not in the way you might think. As Crane sits vigil at her (and Warren's!) daughter's bedside, Finch continues to try and ferret out what's happening with the help of the FBI agent who is having the killer daydreams. This is a fun series!Recommended.
This gettin’ gud. I’m finally starting to get the rhythms of the story and it’s characters - maybe I’m finally paying attention to the writing? Maybe I had a good night’s sleep? Or maybe the story’s finally coming together in a way I’m not completely mystified?I think I mostly get who the characters are now, and how they relate to each other - maybe it’s the (view spoiler)[ reveal of Crane as the birth mother of Alice (hide spoiler)] that broke it open for me?And the change of scenery didn’t hur...
Bullet Review:Will we ever get answers? Or will this series continue indefinitely, always wondering where the Buckaroo Butchers come from?Oh well, at least if it had to be a "waste of time", it wasn't wholly boring and unentertaining.
I like this series. Totally weird.
It gets better and better. Plus the ending was perfect.
Predictable, probably not worth 5 stars, but rating it 5 anyway because of the letters page on the final issue saying, "Well, I'm sure you saw that coming? Right?" Hahaha if it's intentionally predictable, I shall give credit where it's due. Overall enjoyable anyhow.
After a lackluster third volume, this one came back and nailed it with a vengeance (pun fully intended!)
i am having so much fun reading this series holy shit
(A-) 81% | Very GoodNotes: Leaving town, it simmers down, not as eerie as before, but its final scene sparks kerosene: ending hot like molten ore.
4 starsI'm enjoying this series more and more as it goes on. Nice Halloween theme to this volume with the usual gore. As an added bonus, Barker finally goes full bat shit crazy and actually follows through with one of her killing spree daydreams.
I'm still hoping this story won't end in a flop, but the suspense is still there. And there's plenty of violence to keep me going.Buckaroo is overrun by the FBI. Alice, revealed as Crane and Warren's daughter, is recovering from her wound in the hospital. Barker, still having visions of herself killing the people around her, arrests Finch. Carroll is awake, but hidden away by the Bureau. Warren decides to leave Buckaroo on Halloween right as a new killer the media calls the Devil Killer leaves a...
This was a really good volume, there is a story of some kids going to nailbiter's house on Halloween and then confronted by him and there is a sort of horror vibe there but its mostly warren having fun and leaving Buckaroo and then we come to Atlanta where there are a lot of sudden deaths going on and all the victims are turned to devil and they calling it "The Devil Killer" and one suspect is Daniel, a guy from Buckaroo and that makes it obvious he is guilty, only he is not and then we learn of...
This series is so fucking intense...the mystery keeps getting deeper.https://youtu.be/6QwPj2DC2Pw
I am a bit thrown by the cliffhanger here. Shit is going down, and I am along for the ride.
That ending!!!!! THE ENDING!!!!!!!!! I loved this one. This is one of those series that keep getting better and better as the story progresses! I can’t wait to read the next volume.
In this volume we take the show on the road. There's a new serial killer in Atlanta. How is it tied into Buckaroo? Every time we start to find out a little more about the serial killer conspiracy, that person is instantly murdered. It's becoming very frustrating. I'm still really enjoying the series as a whole though.
7.7/10I thought that the quality of the series will drop, but i was wrong. Nailbiter still is a fan and interesting read.P.s I hope they reveal what the hell is happening soon.
We leave the smaller town and enter Atlanta. This continues in the same vein. Really loving it alot. And that ending!! Cliffhanger central!
3.5 out of 5 starsThough I'm still a huge fan of the series, this has to be my least favorite volume, so far. Very scattered plot-wise, and the fact that the writers keep dancing around the story and then in the last few pages of each volume hit you with the tease of what you REALLY want to know about is getting frustrating. Come on now, lets get to the meat (no pun intended) of this thing! Still a fun read though, of course.
3.5/5Emotions: 😃Curiosity, interest, intrigue, desperation, satisfaction.Recommended if you like: Comics/graphic novels, gore, stories about serial killers, dark stories. This is the 4th installment of the series and we get a few new pieces of the puzzle. I enjoyed the story and the graphics but it’s moving slowly, I don’t mean the pace for the story itself, but the revealing of the important pieces to begin to piece together what’s really going on; there are new cases and secondary stories, but
