A fun little issue, the story is more entertainment than being actual substance. However, it is an excellent reds with some hilarious moments. A little nod to DC's two most lesbian villain characters, perhaps not so subtle!
Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn: OTP <3 !
Harley comes across angry protestants claiming that an animal shelter is going to put the pets down if they're not adopted in a matter of 30 days. Harley's solution? Adopt Steal all of them <3

4/5 starsIvy! My second favourite female villain in DC! I really loved the art in this one, and the story- I've seen a few complaints that this series is random and not really following a path, but I disagree. One thing I'm enjoying about this series so far is the fact that it weaves together (judging by the creepy dude at the end) the main plot with Harley's everyday life- she's got people at her throat everyday, but that doesn't mean she can't simultaneously save an entire shelter of animals wi...
I love the cover! How beautiful are the fur babies with blood on their mouth? ^_^I really enjoyed this one. Harley going out of her way to save the animals. I wish I could have an apartment like hers!
Oh man, the fact that Ivy and Harley are together in this issue make me want a film involving the two so bad. How good they would look on screen! This issue is laugh-out-loud funny and laced with clever innuendo. Superb issue.
Harley is definitely my favourite character, in this 2nd book, Harley is still sassy as ever! It's abit disgusting with all the corpse disposing method she used, but she's an anti-hero right? so nothing's wrong with her even though everything is still so wrong! enjoyed it a lot, 4 stars!
I was stuck in a reading funk and decided to give a comic a shot. Little did I know I would become a huge fan of Harley Quinn that I have been devouring all her comics. I love the art and the stories paint her in a light I never expected. I have enjoyed every installment so far and looking forward to reading them all. Highly recommend she's quickly become my favorite DC character.
Helter Shelter What did I say about Harley/Ivy?! I don't ship it but it's good to see Harl happy with her best friend. So happy that the writers decided to focus on Harley's passion for cuddly animals. That floor for the babies looks incredible! Would love to run around with all the puppies in the grass! Also really enjoyed the sinister creepy/cuteness of (view spoiler)[them eating the captive and then smiling with blood covering faces, just like Mummy XD (hide spoiler)]
I am not real happy with the direction this comic is heading. There is no real story, the characters are boring, and this issue consisted of randomness and cheap ploys. For example, the first page shows Harley embracing the Prince of Crime himself as we remember him pre-face replacement, but don't be fooled it is merely a wax figure. And then they bring in Poison Ivy for no apparent reason whatsoever other than people love her and then they can draw a sleepover panty scene. The characterization o...
Poison Ivy joins Harley in Coney Island to rescue some animals from a shelter, the day before they're put down. Shenanigans ensue in the only way they can when Harley and Ivy get together. Another awesome issue in this wonderful series from this great creative team. Read the full review here!
I’m a Batman girl so admittedly I’ve been hesitant to check out these cutesy looking Harley Quinn volumes. I love this character and I think she should be treated with some dignity; she’s a smart woman and a victim of abuse. Unfortunately, my worst fears were confirmed. Cutesy story with an animal shelter and not much else happening, endless beaver jokes, and Ivy’s characterization also felt off. Overall, a very disappointing outing. This would be a 1 Star but the artwork was quite nice to look
I love pets, so this one did a lot for me. I'm kinda bumbed out though that Bernie the beaver doesn't actually talk for real.
I LOVE this Comic. The Harley comic has become the replacement for what Byrne's She Hulk and the Shulkie comic from the mid 2000's was to me. Being a fan of The Campy, Crazy, Wackiness that is attracted to the character was and is such the thrill. Thank You Paul Dini, Bruce Tim, Amanda Conner Jimmy Palmiotti and Chad Harden for giving this and her to us.
Harley, Ivy, AND animals!? This is my kind of comic! Though the dogs eating the criminal was a bit much. Still a great issue. I love the way it's written. I can hear Arlene saying Harley's lines. Loving it!
Finally! Ivy is back! How much did I miss these two working together!
Harley Quinn is finally settling into her new apartment and this new life she's got going for her when she realizes that someone is out to kill her, or so it would seem. Meanwhile, a local animal shelter is going to kill their animals if no one adopts them soon. It's up to Harley to save the animals (because everyone has a soft spot for puppies and kittens) and figuring out whose trying to kill her. It's time for Harley to call in some back up and she get's the best backup she can think of, a lo...
Another amazing comic. I'm so in love with this story and can't wait to keep reading this series. Harley is so bad ass in this issue and I'm over the moon about Poison Ivy popping in. I'm very happy with this.
Fact: Harley Quinn is the cutest psycho killer ever.
