I love the artwork, but the story (what story there is) isn't very engaging. It's weird, abstract, humorous, but not really structured (at all) in a way I enjoy. I pushed through the first 4 issues to see if it went anyplace or got more interesting as it went on, but sadly it just bored me. Still I adore the art style and will likely still get prints of it. Wish the story was as good, for me.
Still Silly and cute but the use of QR codes to create the music was insanely smart, unique and cool.
...QR codes... for the songs the music boxes play in the comic...
3/5 stars for Bee and PuppyCat, Vol. 1 (Bee and PuppyCat #1-5)~ I'm a huge fan of Bee and Puppycat and Adventure Time, both of which have comic spin-offs. But like some Adventure Time comics, Bee and Puppycat, Vol. 1 just didn't have all the laughs and shenanigans of the show. It only took me about 15-20 minutes to read and the stories felt really disjointed, just randomly moving from one scenario to the next, probably because each was done by different people. It's a cute novelty item to have f...
I'm holding out because i watched a few episodes of the show adaptation of these comics.
Amazing and cute. Make sure you have a QR code scanner available before reading as it has sections where you can scan the code for the music boxes songs which is just the best because the music is so pretty!:)
BAD
Cute, but you do need a QR scanner to hear the music it has in store for you.
lmao wtf it didn't even continue the story from the first issue
this is so pure! and it reminds me of lilo and stitch
MUITO LINDO E INTERATIVO!!!!!!!!!!
Gave the second issue a try and basically more of the same. Incredibly weak, pointless storyline, with skin deep gags. I did really like the music boxes themselves, with the QR codes (about the only time I've liked QR codes) was rather smart. Other than that, just not my type of comic. Won't read anymore in this series.
Jeg mangler stadig lidt indhold, for at kunne retfærdiggøre over for mig selv, at give den 5 stjerner.
THERE WERE QR CODES FOR THE MUSIC BOXES!!!!
I gave it a couple issues, but this series just isn't working for me. It might be working up to something, but I'm not into it enough to keep reading to find out what. A little too cutesy, a little too lacking in plot or sense. Nice to see a not-physically-perfect lead female, but unimpressed that both issues have ended with her eating junk food (strawberry donut and old, half-eaten candy bar). No thanks.
I love this issue. Be sure to scan the QR codes for the music boxes it made the experience reading this issue so much amazing. It was so cute and charming and I love the fact they did the effort to make music for this issue. So far loving this.
