Cake's story about Flame Princess was written and drawn so beautifully by Allegri!
I love it
A great start, the art is amazing, Natasha is great. Noelle's Sweater Bandit was adorable, and the lettering *ahem* was pretty good if I do say so myself.
Reread as part of the BookTubeAThon, for the don't let go challenge!
The story is nice, but I'm not a fan of how half of it is a main story line and the other half is just a random story.
This is just so cute >.<Also, the last comic was made for Noelle Stevenson, the girl who draw the Fangirl's cover and OMG GUMLEE IN SWEATERS OKAY!?
i really like adventure time, but i don't like anything to do with the flame princess, so in extension, i don't like flame prince either, but whatever, i really like the other chracters like prince bubblegum, but still the comic was pretty ordinary, so a 3,5 out of 5 seems right to me, actually since this is adventure time i'll give it a 4
I loved it! Omg, Adventure Time comics are the best
Wenk wenk wenk wenk.
This has SUCH PRETTY FONTS. I stopped to admire the letters perhaps too often - but I mean, different characters had different fonts. And they were all gorgeous.Aside from this, I'm really enjoying this graphic novel kick I'm in - they're easy to read and especially on days like today, I like the quick pace and just having a fun little story to read.
3.75 stars :) idk why I picked this up but I found it on scribd and decided to quickly read it haha! and it was actually quite fun to read. I love the art style and the story has that same stupid adventure time vibe that everyone loves. (I need a story with just marshall lee and Prince bubblegum)
3.5
Absolutely adorable. And I love the artwork! Fionna & Cake seem to make a little more sense when they speak than their male counterparts, which is enjoyable (adorable when paired with the fun storyline). Loved it! I hope they release a complete volume soon!
I always like Adventure Time... apalagi pas nemu komiknya woohooo...tapi di sini semuanya di-reversed dari seriesnya...Fiona the Human harus menyelamatkan Flame Prince yang diserang oleh Ice Queen sehingga tubuhnya menyusut jadi elemental fire, ada cerita tambahannya tentang si pencuri sweter...
*3.5
Considering that this is just the first issue in a mini series I have really enjoyed it so far. The writing is funny, and even though it's very silly it's still very enjoyable. In fact the silliness helps give it a little charm to make it enjoyable. The short comic at the back, the Sweater Bandit comic is also very good. If I have any complaint at all it's that it's too short. Can't wait for the next issue!
I love Fionna and Cake, and this book is really cute. I love the art - especially surrounding the fables about the fire woman and the water nymph. The plot is a little sillier and thinner than most Finn and Jake comics though. After reading Ryan North's stuff, I'm kind of of the opinion that he is the only person who has any business writing this stuff. Still, really cute, and I especially liked when Cake makes herself look like a big pile of doo-doo to cheer Fionna up, and when Fionna wishes th...
I'm so excited that some of the biggest feminist titles are coming out of the Adventure Time releases. Not only is BOOM! releasing series with female protagonists, but they're hiring the best female writers and artists. I AM SO INTO THIS. My only beef is with the text--it seemed a little showy, and it didn't always vibe well with the art. Other than that, I'd love to see another Fionna & Cake series.
