This was nowhere near as good as the first two. 3 stars is generous. There is a issue of continuity in this series that gets worse as she Mayer builds the world. Planes have to be specially outfitted to fly sups but they can all drive? There were a few other things and lots of stuff a good editor would have corrected. I cannot put this series down!Simply said, I cannot put the series down. I am completely sucked into the story! I absolutely adore Rylee and her chosen family. Each book is better than the last!

Okay, wow. What the hell happened to Rylee? She became an absolute raving bitch in this book with TSTL tendencies. Seriously, she was unlikable throughout. Another cracking book, can't wait for the fourth which is out in just a few weeks.But a few gripes, I know this is fiction, and fantasy at that. I've seen some reviews say Rylie is more bitchy in this one, and that's a con. They're right. I get having an attitude, but she hits below the belt on first meet with people who feel self-conscious and makes it more personal. Overall this was an interesting book and the ending was sad but well done. I didn't like the back and forth with O'Shea this time and that situation, and the vampire thing irritates me, when it usually doesn't. We'll see on the next book.
I don't know how that's possible but this series is getting better and better! Another new case for Rylee to be done, and new supernaturals coming her way. I so love to see how Rylee grows stronger and there is that soft string of her heart that touches me! Just love this series! Going for the next book now!
