This book is so beautiful. It doesn't have any text, just sit down and enjoy every illustration.

I stumbled across this collection of art quite by accident. Although I cannot remember now what I had originally been searching for, BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARES was recommended by Amazon. Without seeing any of the artwork, I merely went on reviews both on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.The title of this book perfectly describes the pieces by Nicoletta Ceccoli. There is undoubtedly something very beautiful about the pictures, but when you study them in more detail, there is often also something quite night...
So beautiful. And a little nightmarish (funnily enough).Thinking of buying a second copy so I can frame pages from the first one.
This is not a book to read, but a book to enjoy, sitting comfortably and staring for hours at the marvellous illustrations! Blue bird, Sheryl, Treegirl, and Crows some of my favourite.
The most hauntingly beautiful book I've ever owned! Absolutely adore it. Xoxo
