Good solid fun with some good laughs and some of my favourite characters, Spiderman, Punisher and Daredevil. The only thing every deadpool comic I've read has in common is a decent storyline that keeps you hooked, but nonetheless he is a great character.
There's nothing to say about this one but
Third time's a charm. This was my third (and possibly final) attempt to read a Deadpool book, because I always figured the combo of brutal violence and sarcastic 4th wall humour would be my kinda thing. Sadly, the first 2 tries turned me off quite a bit.I'm happy to say that Mike Benson's 5 issue series was exactly what I hoped Deadpool would be. There's laugh out loud jokes, snicker jokes, and a ton of insane violence. It also helps that Deadpool is framed for a crime, and the Punisher comes aft...
What can I say? Deadpool is friggin awesome. Buy everything with him in it :-)
honestly dead pool comics don't even need to attempt a plot, just throw in a couple of dirty jokes and detached limbs and i will have a good time
My brother got this serie /in two volumes collecting the five parts/ so I decided to read it. Oh, Deadpool. I love you.
This is so 2009. The tropes, the girls, the violence. It all screams low-key sexist early 2000's content. Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining and well written. It's just a product of its time, that's all.Over all, it's not Deadpool at it's best, but it's pretty good nonetheless.
Suicide Kings 👑Deadpool, Punisher, and Spiderman! Limited series are my favorite Pool books and this one is great fun, very Pool-y 👍
Not the best Deadpool miniseries ever. Some decent banter and action. Some of the language didn’t age well especially with what Deadpool has become.
Bloody, fun, self-contained Deadpool collection. Highly recommend for the casual and die hard fan.
EL Chimichanga is strong in this one! This TPB edition collects “Deadpool: Games of Death”, “Deadpool: Suicide Kings” #1-5, “Marvel Digital Special Holiday” #2, “Deadpool” #900, “Deadpool” #1000, “X-Men Origins: Deadpool”, along with some material from “Marvel Spotlight: Deadpool” and a cover gallery. ( Dang! That’s a lot of reading in one single book! By the way… Hello, Goodreads Users!!! It’s me, Wade Wilson, EL Deadpool! I employed my super duber secret Chimichanga powers to infiltrate t
Deadpool is not your normal superhero. He's completely insane, ridiculously ugly and has a tendency of fucking up everything when he gets the chance. On the positive side, his limbs grow back out when they're cut off (very practical), he's a devoted Metallica fan, and the self-declared Shogun of Sarcasm! With the important and obvious exception of Batman, superheroes are normally not my kind of thing at all. Especially not superhero comics. So I was mildly skeptical going into this. But fortunate...
A Deadpool miniseries, plus a one-shot. The five issue miniseries is really a very typical Deadpool story. Which begs the question: why bother releasing it as a mini, instead of just as five issues of Deadpool? (Answer: Money, of course. Deadpool was selling.) It is a decent story, with an elevated level of violence even for Deadpool. Tombstone makes for a credible villain here. (I have no idea if this is normal or not, since I don't read much Spidey.) Probably would have been better if it hadn'...
Maybe more of a 3.5 rounded up, but Deadpool is almost always good, dumb fun and this is no exception. This volume will always have a special place in my heart because it is what spawned the "Marvel Red Team" craze on Tumblr several years ago, which was a whole host of fanworks featuring Deadpool, Daredevil, and Spider-man together [the Punisher mostly got left out because his uniform is the wrong color I guess]. There are definitely some great memories for here both in the actual comic itself an...
Deadpool: Suicide Kings was an alright read. It’s my first brush with Deadpool and I’ll probably read more about him but I get the feeling I’m going to think most of it is just alright. So you’re probably wondering why I would continue to read about him, right? Well, he’s an asshole. And for some reason he’s says just enough ridiculous stuff and offends just enough people for me to want to read more of his comics. For those of you who haven’t read much about Deadpool I’m just going to let you kno...
Someone tries to frame Deadpool for a murder and he is chased by the Punisher, Daredevil and Spiderman. Good artwork and a quick and fun story.
I was laughing so much when I was reading his is so funny crude and very dirty but I love the sense of humour that I cant wait to read more DEADPOOL
Reasons why this is the only comic book ever:1.Deadpool is amazing2.This book is hilarious (just like Deadpool)3.Spider-Man is a guest star (I love peter)4.Daredevil is also a guest star(the only man ever)5.Deadpool is really funny did I mention this
3.5 starsSevered limbs, dark comedy, human-eating-pigs, severed limbs, cool quips, Deadpool, Spidey, severed limbs, Daredevil & The Punisher in one quick, fun, meta-DP comic? What’s not to like.
Pretty decent stuff.
