This book was a lot of fun to read!The characters are well fleshed out, each with their unique skills and a distinctive voice. Jinx is a badass character but not in a superhero way. She's very hands-on and takes everything in stride. I was suspicious of Stone but grew to like him. They seem to make a good team and work well together. Well holy moly! What started off as an ordinary detective story, soon becomes much more. Jinx, a private detective, is able to discern a lie from a truth. She never gave it much thought but when she's hired to investigate the disappearance of a young woman, she is thrust into a different realm, with all sorts of magical beings.
