Heartbroken & alone, Emily, is living a lonely existence while working in her corporate day job. Seemingly upbeat & carefree when surrounded with her roommates. There is a pining in her heart after having recently broken up with her boyfriend. Emily wants more than a pillow to cuddle with at night. With all the pizza, wine & ice cream, she still feels empty inside. Her family worries for her as she has not been the same after having her heart smashed to pieces.

Meet Michael, a young man with a high powered career. He is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil and has focused so much on building his career that love is something he has failed to take into account. Michael is watching on his social media account as one by one, his friends are all giving their love & hearts to the right women, yet here he is, with all the nice clothes & cars sitting in a luxurious house. He is isolated. One day while cooking a steak dinner, Michael just became sick and tired of the local dating market.

Michael thought back to his own parents, a Brazilian father & Japanese mother, how they were a world apart, yet their two beating hearts were merged into one. Desperate, he had recently downloaded a dating app & expanded the search to Japan, then France before browsing women in the US. When he came across a profile of a lovely young woman with earthy brown eyes & chestnut hair, his heart skipped a beat as Michael’s eyes transfixed onto the picture of this woman.
