I'm a sicker for a book where the main characters are monsters, so the blub of this very much appealed to me.If you want a quick, steamy RH with a range of monstrous characters who all are totally soft on one human girl, then you'll likely enjoy this book.I don't really read a lot of RH anymore, as I find myself mostly out of patience for the tropes and how samey they all are, as if there is some sort of RH cook book and every author just includes the same elements. I liked the concept, the nightmares themselves and what we learned so far of the characters. I liked the multiple POVs and the originality of the different types and classes of monsters. I wish it had been a bit more fleshed out, with more about the world and more of the characters' histories and a bit less of the inner monologues over their relationships. Interesting conceptI'm a sucker for villain or a "monster" as the hero. This book did very well in bringing those types of characters. We spent a lot of time with character establishment, hopefully the next book will deal more with conflict.Im hoping the heroine will be a little less Mary Sue like.
