Nooo, that’s the end?! That’s it?! I was just starting to love it! Ah, I wish it had, had more of a conclusion so I could of had some closure. But eh! As always, this was some much needed light and airy fun. Definitely going to miss Daphnes fashion choices and the silly ghostly goings on
I was definitely satisfied with how everything wrapped up for this series, but that said, it was wrapped up way too fast. I don't know if the series was cancelled before it was supposed to end or what, but things that were introduced last volume (and there were a few pretty big things) had to be completely concluded this time around, and it was very rushed. I enjoyed the series overall, but the pacing in this volume was off and that took away from my enjoyment of the conclusion.
4 out of 5 stars and the journey ends. It was a fun ride. The series delivered exactly what the title promised. The art quality remained great throughout the series but the storyline itself got better as the series continued. I wasn't enjoying this at first but then I warmed up to it. I didn't know that this was a three volume series until this very last volume. Now I'm feeling sad to leave these characters behind. Please give this a try if you like found family tropes and enjoy diversity in you...
As a disclaimer I read issues 9-12, prior to their inclusion in this volume. This third volume of "Ghosted in L.A." does not stand alone and should only be read after the previous two volumes. This is a nice wrap up to the series which fills in some of Aggie's background and shows strong character development on the part of Daphne. The ending is fulfilling but does seem pretty rushed. This is is particularly true with the treatment of the creepy roommate, who does reach her full malevolent potent...
I was disappointed that this would actually be the last volume! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this series and feel like it had so much story left to tell. It went out on a satisfying note, of course, but canceling this — and it does feel like it was canceled. . . I'd be surprised if it wasn't — was a mistake. I wanted to see more about Daphne, Zola, Ronnie, Bernard, Shirley, Ricky, and Pam. And the artwork was just gorgeous. Definitely will have to add this to my list of comfort re-reads...
This volume of the series was not nearly as charming as the other two. The beginning and middle had difficulty holding my attention and interest. The ending did have elements to what I liked in the first two volumes but it could not save this from being a two star rating.
In actuallity, this book is more like a 3.5 stars, but sadly, Goodreads won't allow you to participate in half stars. I enjoyed this fairly well, but the way this volume ended, it made me sad. This series could have done so much more if it didn't end, and I want more.Oh well, I'm gonna have to find another graphic novel series that is good and I'll enjoy. Leave any suggestions in the comments.
Story - 3/5Artwork - 5/5Overall - 3/5 Good This final volume concludes the Rycroft tale of Daphne. This series was short and fun, all the Characters and ghosts were unique and overall story was decent and fast paced although It could be better. Artwork is super Gorgeous! If you're looking for some YA drama with dose of fantasy then you may enjoy this series.
So, overall I really enjoyed this little series, but I feel like it was too short. I wanted more of everything.
This was definitely my favorite. So many things happened, and I enjoyed it so much. I fell in love with all the characters and probably am gonna re read this some time. I loved the detail of the LA rec places, at the end of each issue. Totally gonna keep that in mind for when I visit… someday. There was so much personal growth and self discovery in this last volume, and it was exactly what I needed, a fun short read, that talked about what I’m going through right now with starting college next ye...
Well GHOSTED IN L.A, VOL 3 was a fun conclusion to the strange happenings at Rycroft Manor and there were even some things left open for more. While overall the story wasn’t as strong for me, I really enjoyed the art in this series and found the drawings and colors really well done.
Woof. This series took an unfortunate turn with the storytelling pacing. Nothing had room to breathe or grow and ended up being just a bunch of convoluted stuff happening. I think the series' biggest problem is trying to branch off into too many characters lives and much too quickly. Too much too soon that i stopped caring about any of it.
[This review covers all three volumes of Ghosted In LA]Ghosted In LA is the story of Daphne, a poor confused girl who moves halfway across the country to follow her boyfriend to college, only for him to come out as gay and leave her high and dry. Enter Rycroft Manor, home of a handful of ghosts who offer their incorporeal shoulders for Daphne to cry on. But ghosts come with their own problems, and Daphne’s will pale in comparison once she gets embroiled in their interdimensional mysteries. There
This could have done with being a little longer. The lack of pages meant that a few important moments got brushed past and given less attention than they deserved. If this is the final installment, I'm gutted I didn't get more thorough explanations or time for goodbyes with my beloved ghosts. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, and hope to read more from the author and artist in the future.

this was really fun!! can't wait to read another graphic novel :)
(originally reviewed at thelibraryladies.com )We find ourselves once again coming to the end of a series, and this time we are saying goodbye to the living and the dead at Rycroft Manor. “Ghosted in L.A.” is a very different beast from “The Sandman”, the other big conclusion in graphics I’ve had as of late, but one of the charms was its simplicity and heart that is content to just be a fun, funny urban fantasy. But that said, even something light and airy still needs to have due diligence don...
Volume 3 of Ghosted in L.A. was a bit of a letdown. To me the series ended abruptly. You can tell the creators were trying to give it a happy ending, but none of the relationships really got resolved and I was left feeling pretty confused about a lot of things. There was a lot of buildup to things that got swept under the rug - like Michelle's backstory and the entire plot revolving around her. I don't really understand what happened. If I had to guess, I'd say the series got suddenly cancelled
A series about relationships becomes a series about a mysterious old manor home in this third volume. What's behind the door in the basement? Why is Agi so fearful of the door being opened? There's no shocking surprise as to what's behind the door. Nor is there much forward momentum in this volume - Ghosted in L.A.'s first volume set the stage with a fun tone and fast pacing, but both of those perks have since petered out. I still enjoyed my time with Daphne and crew (and was happy to see them se...
This felt a little bit too rushed, but it was still cute!
