Remember the noise? The mess? Remember not having a single moment to yourself? Oh, and remember how you can't even close your eyes to sneeze because the moment you do, every single ex
I received a free finished copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This in no way affects my opinions. After reading this hilarious book, I'm definitely of the opinion that we need more adult picture books in the world!F*ck, Now There are Two of You is the third book in series started by Go the F*ck to Sleep. If you can't guess from the title, it's a book of hard truths and humor about having a second child. My boyfriend and I both laughed from the first page to the...
I got an ARC of this and COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE EXCITED!! I absolutely loved the first two, and this did NOT disappoint. Being a mother of two - let me tell you, this shit HITS HOME. awesome girl for someone having their second child!!
FUCK, NOW THERE ARE TWO OF YOU by Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Owen Brozman.I received this ARC (Advance Reading Copy) from Akashic Books. Thank you. It really made my day!I don’t know what to say that hasn’t been said before about this book and Mr. Mansbach’s two previous titles, GO TO FUCK TO SLEEP and YOU HAVE TO FUCKING EAT.As a librarian (by trade) and voracious reader (by habit), I have been introduced to a new genre - adult picture books. I quite enjoy them. These particular books are...
This one was fine. The other two had neat rhymes that worked and this one has... less of that so it felt less wholesome? I liked the illustrations nonetheless, but the writing wasn't on par with the first two.
Book Reviewed on www.whisperingstories.comFor those of you that are thinking about having a second child or have just had one this book is for you. It would also make a unique present if you know someone who has had their second child. It is laugh-out-loud funny and contains copious amounts of swearing.I remember when I was pregnant with my second child another mum saying to me, having a second one is hard, but anymore after that is easy. I thought she was joking but she wasn’t. Going from one c...
The third book in the Go the F**k to Sleep has you grinning in amusement as to the the profane laments of having a second child.
F**k, Now There Are Two Of You is the third book in the Go The F**k To Sleep series by American author and parent, Adam Mansbach. This book is again set out in the style of a children’s picture book, with marvellous illustrations by Owen Brozman. So, the parents of the new baby think they're finally handling it OK. They get a bit too cocky, or maybe just oops, and there's another baby on the way. How hard can it be? Harder than they ever dreamed, that's what. Adam Mansbach demonstrates just a few...
I’ve don’t think I’ve ever related to a book on a personal level more than this.
When I saw this come I snagged that shit out of the mail because IT WAS MINE!!!!! This was **** good as the first one!! I couldn't put it down and read it of course in one sitting. I laughed thought the entire story but you also find yourself wanting to cry because you know that its the honest truth of how your life changes once an extra child pops into your life. If you want a good laugh/cry as a parent this is a must read for you!!

Hilariously inappropriate picture book (that is clearly not for children) that is perfect for parents having a second child.
Advanced copy from Library Thing and Akashic BooksLoved it! But then again I live for irreverence. Short and sweet and gets the point across. Thinking I should buy copies for all my friends even remotely thinking of another child.
This is the latest contribution to Mansbach's parody picture book series, and it harkens back to the original's glory. Illustrations feature diverse representation and family units. Readers will enjoy variety of situations that this book covers, from the pregnancy to thinking about sending the children to college. Some readers may not appreciate the language in the book, and readers should be aware that this book is targeted for adults and not children. For: parents, caregivers, and those who ha...
I received an advanced copy from librarything. This being the first book I have read by Adam Mansbach, I found that this book provides a humorous yet honest presentation of the addition of a second child in a children's book format. Beautiful illustrations along with funny poetry make it a worthwhile book. My only critique is the poetry of the text has loose rhyming patterns that sometimes do not flow that well.
My cousin got this for Christmas from her husband and let me read it! She is a mother of two and is exhausted by it so these books definitely help her cope with the crazies. Now as funny as Go the F*ck to Sleep but still hilarious even for me who is not a mother
Seriously so good. All parents with two kids or expecting another child needs this book! The audiobook version is even better. Larry David brings this book to life!
Another hysterical book about having kids.
Hilarious addition to the F**k series. The audiobook even has a lovely lullaby score playing in the background. I look forward to checking out the physical book at some point. Fantastic! Thanks to libro.fm for a free Advanced Listening Copy in return for an honest review.
I didn’t think this book was as good as the first book. I really struggled with the rhyming aspect in this book as I had to really slow down and say each word before I was able to get the rhyming to work for me. What I did like in this book was the illustrations and the message that the text was getting across (aside from the curse words). Just when you thought you had things under control and you could go out in public w/o taking half your house with you or knowing that you could actually go ea...
