Eh, it had an HEA but...It barely lived up to the reverse harem promised. Right up until the end of the book she was dealing with their jealousy issues and there was only a single scene with more than one guy (and it only had 1 additional person). She has 8, gorgeous sexy men and most of the sex revolves around her healing someone. I, at least, read these to live vicariously through the protagonist characters but it felt this book did not live up to the tropes of the genre it is in.
I thoroughly enjoyed the close of Piper's conflict with the coven that kidnapped her as an infant and caused her so much trouble the first eighteen years of her life. I will say that there were a lot of little editing mistakes that drove me a bit crazy, but doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the book. I like how things work out and what the future seems to hold for the packs, but I still feel like there were loose ends. I think I need another book! I want to just how the packs work
2 & 1/2 stars rounded up.This book (#3) lost it's mojo for me within the series. The unique plot held my attention in the first 2 books to keep going though. I felt the flow was very erratic, and it actually lost my interest a few times. I was actually glad the book ended so I could be done & move on. Some of the guys were getting on my nerves & that pulled me out of the story. Some of the stuff going on seemed like a stretch, leaving me with questions, or making me feel like the author was tryi...
I loved this series and was hooked from book 1 Piper and her two packs of men really came to life for me I find myself caring for all of them and gong through an array of emotions with them. The series is full of action love and lust with many twists and turns that leave you turning page after page to find out what next.Having Read Both Pipers and Maddie s story I would love to have a book or two in the middle about why piper and Maddie are so special, How Piper set up the Academy How she lost be...
An exceptional ending to Piper’s journeyPiper, a pack princess with issues, is dealing with the fact that the witches she thought were gone from her life are not so distant after all. As the story progresses danger strikes from multiple sources, a deadly game of hide and seek occurs, and uniting under one pack may be the secret to their victory. May Dawson’s Their Shifter Princess; Coven’s Revenge is an exceptional ending to Piper’s journey that lays the foundation to continue the series with Ma...
Perfect endingPerfect ending to this set, with the promise of more in a spin-off. I love how the story unfolded and the characters come together. The ending was perfect!
I really, really enjoyed this series. The plot, execution and overall writing were great. Engaging and believable characters, great, organic banter – This series had it all and I am happy I read it.The reason I can’t give it the 5 stars is the fact that, no matter how much I suspend my disbelief, there is something I find intrinsically ridiculous about(view spoiler)[ Piper’s ability to heal her pack through sex. (hide spoiler)] Specifically, I couldn’t help but laugh at the part where she (view
I’m honestly not sure what to make of this series. It started off promising, but the second book felt imbalanced. This third installment was chaos. We were just dipping our toes in all these different stories, and there was an overuse of different POVs. I felt like none of the conflicts ever reached a peak and that made it so none of the resolutions were satisfying. For example, she’s been dealing with Kai’s drama for two books now. They mope and whine at each other then have sex. Great. Fine. T...
