An otherwise great premise that is really dragged down by a contrived and trait feeling framing device and some really sub par art. I had high hopes for this book but I do not see myself continuing with it as the overabundance of framing narration was so unbearable that I wasn't even able to finish the issue, only get about two thirds of the way though.
This was ok. It did have some funny parts. ( was that Mcgruff? Lol) and it did drag on at parts with the repetitive story telling style with all the panels. Then who shows up at the end.....I shoulda known.
3 ½ stars for this issue. It was cute and funny on the whole. I liked the setup for why Frank Castle was telling Marvel history. That was bittersweet, and honestly really fits in well with Castle’s story. I’d be happy with them leaving off here with it, but it sort of sounds like he might be intending to do more? I don’t think Castle could resist the temptation to change the past. Not once it was sitting right in front of him.
Just doesn't feel rightFelt more like a half baked Deadpool comic, than a continuation of Cosmic Ghost Rider. The art was good, but other than that I'm just not feeling it.
