Wow this storyline is getting really exciting. I would have loved to see this as another season of the Legend of Korra, and for it to be much more fleshed out as a whole season of episodes, instead of just as a three-part comic. I know that the pages are limited, but I would love some sweet moments between the characters, that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the overlaying story... Just give me some tooth-decaying Korrasami fluff please!!

3.5 stars. “No, Commander Guan. I won’t be returning. And I serve no one – not the Avatar, and especially not you.” Ok, so I ended up really liking this one. Seeing the process that the Earth Kingdom is going through is fun and all, real progress that needed to happen. And honestly, a far better option than having Prince Wu ruling them. But the real reason I totally love this series is because of all my Kuvira goodness. “I know you have every reason to hate me, but I didn’t know who else to
My favourite character has returned:That is all.
Ruins of the Empire, Part 2 is super fun. It brings together such different and contrasting characters, like Wu, Korra, Toph, and Kuvira. It was great having them all interact together in scenes. The brainwashing is also a neat throwback to Avatar.
when will kuvira offer me her hand in marriage i am so ready to be her housewife!!!!!!!!!!!
3.5/5* I’m living for Kuvira’s Redemption Arc here, but to be honest the whole brainwashing thing is just kinda lame in my opinion. Still excited for part three!
I think I really have to read these back to back--it's been so long since I read the first one that I no longer remembered the series-specific characters. And honestly, I'm reading these just for Korrasami.
*4.5Oooh, stuff is REALLY picking up! I like this expansion of technology we saw in ATLA, and the Kuvira stuff is compelling. That stuff with Wu and the swamp was great too. I'm looking forward to seeing how this'll all go down. 4.5/5 stars.
tyvm kathryn for this beautiful book love u 😌everything has gone to shit in this comic and i love it. KUVIRA IN A SUIT. kuvira could get it. not as much korrasami but they kiss on the first page so it’s ok. KUVIRA RIGHTS KUVIRAAAAAAAAAAAA (also now that toph has been in lok quite a few times can we PLEASE at least get a mention of suki?!?! i love her and she needs recognition 😾😾)
Wayy too short. Loved to see the other side of Kuvira here.
damn i really wish that these were longer
Best one so far. Holy shit!!
And the plot thickens.....the pacing of this second book was superb, perfectly setting up the stage for the big climax. Kuvira's character keeps getting more fleshed out, and HALLELUJAH, we see Toph again. Plus, we get a glimpse of the beginning of Su and Kuvira's relationship, which was hinted at in the show but never fully explored. I hated seeing Team Avatar at odds with each other, but I really appreciated that they didn't follow the cliche trope of 'OUR LOVE IS SO PURE THAT IT GAVE ME THE S...
Somehow I managed to get my hands on this one early which was thrilling because I love Kuvira very much. Spoiler free; I wasn't disappointed. It was really wonderful to see more of little Kuvira. She was such an adorable and squishy child lol. And of course current Kuvira is a badass. I really hope to see her make amends with Baatar and the other Be Fongs.
Really enjoyed these 2 and can’t wait to read part 3.
LOVING the Kuvira redemption arc!! Also, more Toph!!!
THAT ENDING
Needed more Asami (these reviews are not accurate portrayals of the book, I’m just having a great time)
Oh shit.... Kuirva save them NOW PLEASE
