Read twice now, feel like I should love, but just can't quite. Kennedy's done some other good work though; he's worth reading though hard to find (at least the juveniles?).
Kind of odd, more like a short story with illustrations than a picture books for kids. Once upon a time, there was a middle aged guy in a high-necked sweater who met a Renn Faire lady...Wait, that's just the first illustration, sorry.Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess. An interesting short story. It didn’t go to a place that I expected, and it was a bit darker than I thought it would be. I wasn’t a huge fan of the writing style, though.
