A great batman issue. promising start. Love the classic art style. I like the story moves at a fast enough pace you don't get bored.
Loved this. I could lose hours just observing every intricate detail of Kelley Jones in this issue, it’s so right on the money. The story is good too, the issue sets the plot up for the next chapters. All of this, and it’s outside of continuity too, and since I’m not reading BATMAN and DETECTIVE at the moment it’s perfect.
I loved this. Not sure how to explain it but...this is the Batman I always loved. So...maybe it's an older style? I'm not up to date and hip on things. But, I liked older style batman things and i like this.
Thoroughly enjoyed this first issue! Had a very 90s Era feel to it which Is what I needed!
Batman: Kings of Fear is a new mini-series in the DC world. It’s expected to be six issues long, which should be enough time for the biggest villains in the Batman series to do some serious damage, don’t you think? It looks like the Scarecrow is the ringleader for this series, which shouldn’t be all that surprising, considering the title of the series. Still, the Scarecrow is a devious man, and he knows that he’s better off with larger numbers on his side. You know what that means. This series
Old school illustrations. An interesting story, the ending look promising, but I have to make it loose one start because of the unrealistic fight scene where Batman destroy all the top villain alone in a single fight...
Usually Joker doesn’t trigger my coulrophobia, likely because he’s not actually a clown. The way he was drawn in here though? Made me veeeeery uncomfortable. We’ll see if I can finish the rest of the miniseries.
