Who ever thought they would meet the love of their life over a game of Spades? Damn sure not bougie ass, 28-year-old, Zynovia King. One cold New York afternoon, Zynovia runs into one of the sexiest men she has ever beat in the game of Spades; probably one of the sexiest men she has ever met in her life, Trenton “Pistol” Murphy. Although he’s the perfect eye candy, Zynovia knows she doesn’t want to get involved with a man of Pistol’s caliber. She knocks down all his advances, but Pistol is determined not to give up on the sarcastic beauty. After an emotional day at work, Zynovia allows Pistol to show her a good time. After some Henny wings, a few Texas sized Strawberry Daiquiris, tequila shots, and raw conversation, Pistol may have just broken through Zynovia’s tough exterior.

With her ambitions low and most of her dignity out the window, Zynovia opens up to Pistol in more ways than just conversation. Never wanting to take advantage, Pistol leaves Zynovia with the little bit of dignity she has left, with hopes of getting another chance under better circumstances. But what happens when he comes back and Zynovia is MIA? Could being a gentleman have just caused him to miss his opportunity to be with the woman of his dreams?
