i was even more captivated by that one than the first book! mona kasten really outdid herself with that one. i loved the multiple pov's of the side characters, it really added something incredibly special to the book. ruby and james' story is absolutely fascinating.
THE ENDING WHAT THE FUCK???? Stopppp with the cliffhangers, how am I supposed to wait for the next book now??? How rude...Anyway, the book was amazing and I flew through it. Honestly, I could barely put it down! The characters all feel so real and I loved seeing other peoples perspectives too now! Lydia and Ruby's friendship is also one of the most amazing things ever. I loved seeing James fight for her and her not just giving in and him actually trying his hardest to show her how much he cares....

UPDATE: I thought a second chance would be appropriated. I WAS RIGHT!! But still• No tension since there isn’t a diversified storyline • Nothing spectacular. Rant incoming. A lot of cursing. I liked this book even less than the first. While I tried to be very objective in my first review, it is now 2 am and I am so damn irritated.
