I love this book, so much! Spencer Cosgrove has taken my heart and conquered it. His sweetness and also his attitude are so different from the normal "Bad-Boy" clichee, and he is really thoughtful and majorly hot. I kinda liked Dawn too, she was super-sweet. "Spencer was everything."I know from all the booktubers I follow that this is many peoples favorite out of the trilogy and I get why. I raced through this NA romance. I enjoyed it much more than the first book in this series. Spencer and Dawn were such likeable characters. Not sure if I’ll read on, but this one was great.
3.5 STARSI enjoyed this book very much! Dawn and Spencer's story is a friends to lovers romance rife with complications and reluctant attraction. It was really well done, feeling much more authentic than the first standalone in this series had. Let me start this by saying that when i read this i did no know at all that this was the second book in a series. I only noticed that when i went on goodreads to mark it as read... ?So clearly that shows that the author did a FANTASTIC job in writing basically a standalone romance and nobody needs to read this series in order. I mean i have no idea if the first book adds something to this book, since i haven't read it... but this book was so great in itself that i am guessing that its perfectly
this will be top 5 of my this year reads!I loved the story about Spencer and Dawn, I felt so sorry for him, because she didn't trust him at first. I liked their connection. it was emotional story, but in a good way. I wasn't sad reading it, I was excited, what will happen next? I couldn't put it down, I read it till 2 in the morning. It was nice to read about other friends too.
