INTRODUCTION

“Man is the true instigator of his own destiny.
When he is not convinced of that,
he becomes nothing in this life.”
There are people who strive for high ideals. Those are the ones who leave a footpath we all can follow.
Coming into this world, each creature has a mission to accomplish, a written destiny, a golden charge that sits quite apart from being a father or a mother, or from fulfilling the simple requirements to pay for the daily living in a fleeting society.
That mission is engraved deep inside each and every one of us.
Let us listen to our heart, the one that beats sometimes more than seventy-two beats per second and never lies. To do so, we must find ourselves. We must dig beyond the shallow end to unveil that being that lives within us, the one to whom most of us do not pay attention. But to do that, we must stop wasting our time on false prophets and rhythms that often alter our senses and prevent us from being ourselves, and not others, who handle our purpose in life.
The Sparrow and the Frog represent creatures in search of their own destiny. They are moved by ideals that are higher than the average being. Embracing change as a new form of adventure will help us discover aspects of ourselves we never imagined existed. We must remember, though, that wherever we go and whatever we do, in order to protect ourselves we must always have the moral as our shield and the ethic as our sword.
