Always bearing in mind that each family group is different in its ways of life, Neutra does not try to impose a uniform or traditional set of plans on his clients. He studies and discusses with them all aspects of their lives – social entertaining, recreational activities, growing children, the need for privacy – and then works out plans for a house which best suits these needs and which also takes advantage of the topography. Thus all the houses he builds are different and individualized although they do have in common a feeling of spaciousness and light and are designed so they can be easily cared for.
