There has been a line drawn in the U.S., a division between what is considered religious and what is consider secular. Politicians and others seeking "control" use this as a battleground for votes and power; the media is its megaphone to reach the masses. Danny "The Crusader" Campbell has made a name for himself in defending the secular world against the religious world, meanwhile unearthing scandals against any politician that might stand in his way. The pinnacle of his career is a Marine statue on the Texas Capitol grounds in Austin that has been placed in honor of a fallen Marine, emblazoned with the Lord's Prayer. Danny comes to Texas not only to unearth an immoral truth about its supporting Governor, but have it completely removed from the State Grounds. During his stint in Austin, Danny is in a tragic car wreck where he experiences an afterlife event as he is brought back after being dead for twenty minutes. Danny's unexplained experience sheds new light on accountability, for not only what we do here, but what we do to other people while we're here among the living.
