This is the third issue of Dark Moon Digest I've read and it's one of the best so far. This one has a wide variety of some top notch fiction from many writers that are new to me and a few that I've been following for a while. Some of my favorites were Simon by Glenn Rolfe, Shillings by Michelle K. Bujnowski, Red Teeth by Vic Kerry and Origins Unknown by Aaron Gudmunson. My favorite though was In the Sun by Shaun Meeks. A great, fast read full of some great fiction. This is the best Dark Moon Digest issue I've read. Not sure how I could list any favorites in here as they are all amazing.
I rarely read this genre, and I can't recall the last time I read a short story anthology. Someone mentioned this digest when I was between books, so I thought I'd give it a try.Although I enjoyed several stories, my favorite two were Jason Norton's "The South Will Rise Again" and W.P. Johnson's "Hours to Kill."
