Here we find Goren Torren has returned to Earth, from the future. But he is twenty-two years too late. The Federation Alliance has fallen. The military junta of the Far Federation has taken control of the Galaxy. It is ruling Earth and all else, and is itself being ruled. This is it for Goren Torren. He now has to bring about the prophesy of what he was being prepared to do. Will he do it, or will he be simply doing what was foretold from the future, and sending Earth into an evil spin from which it cannot stop?

This is a great book. That super intelligence in the future which has its grip on Earth now, has to be fought and beaten in the future, along with winning back Earth, and ridding the Galaxy, of the hideous Warp Drive Bank.

This book also has a Glossary of Terms and historical notes, which is still growing with each book. The glossary is to help the reader understand words used in the book. In fact, you could read this book as the first book, because the glossary is that good. The glossary not only has words used in this science fiction story that are not used elsewhere, but also it makes references to the real life information behind the plot in the book.
