The author clearly did research! This book will actually appear informative and factual-even though it is clearly, we hope, not. The illustrations are terrific, in this type of comic, with bad illustrations the comic would really have flopped. There is a fair amount of detail and the expressions are easily discerned. There is a numerous amount of species that the reader may observe in this book, the reader won't be restricted to just one or two. The reader will receive information on these speci...
Whether you believe in aliens or not, this is not a book to be read late at night. There is no plot, just beautiful pictures of each race, a description of the race, and a short write up by Pat detailing the artistic decisions and concepts necessary to portray beings that no one has seen. You can put that whole last part in quotes depending on what side of the conspiracy you land on.http://teamhellions.com/2011/09/26/ex...
There are billions upon billions of planets out there, and I would definitely say that we are not alone in this vast universe. The legends, myths, sighting, and speculations on different aliens have been marvelously depicted in this work. If you didn't think it was possible for there to be other life out there before, this book will at least make you wish there was, just so you could see the beauty in some of these races. Some of the aliens had descriptions to them that were mind boggling. I have...
I received a review copy of the “condensed” edition of “The Extraterrestrial Compendium” from Sea Lion Books – thanks for the chance to preview this amazing book! And it IS amazing – the illustrations, done by the highly talented Pat Lee, are wonderfully detailed, luminous and just a pleasure to see. While one will need to purchase the paper copy of this book in order to completely appreciate the beauty of these illustrations, I also recommend that you pick up this “condensed” sneak-peek edition
At first I was not sure how to review this particular book. It is an introduction to Pat Lee and the different species and worlds he has created.A huge fan of sci-fi, ancient aliens and George Noory this was right up my ally. His views are like a lot of people out there today. We are not alone. Scientist are finding more planets beyond our galaxy capable of sustaining life. It stands to reason some of them could be populated. It also makes us look at ourselves and the way we treat our planet. Wh...
Originally Reviewed at:Mother/Gamer/Writer Rating: 5 out of 5 ControllersReview Source: Sea Lion BooksWow. The Extraterrestrial Compendium is simply remarkable. Whether you are a science fiction lover or you occasionally find yourself daydreaming about the possibilities of what lies beyond (and deep within) the Earth, The EC has something for everyone. The Compendium serves as an index or encyclopedia of every extraterrestrial life form known to man (almost ninety) compiled from myths, legends,
This is a collection of drawings and facts about extraterrestrials that have been encountered by humans or have been rumored to exist. The drawings and descriptions of the beings is quite detailed and in some cases beautiful. I reviewed the condensed version, but the full hardback version is now available for purchase. If you are a sci-fi fan and want to know what may be out there, this is the books for you. Details in the drawings bring the figures to life and the descriptions help you really pu...

*50 pages sample provided by Sea Lion Books.*This is a partial review based on thos 50 pages.Podem ler a opinião, em Português, no meu blog Floresta de Livros. My first impression was that the book made no assumptions and I was a little disappointed by that. But after the beggining, I actually enjoyed the fact that they didn't assume anyhting, and instead gave us a look into what a lot of people seem to talk about in regards to alien life-forms.The illustrations are very good (from all the artist...
