The concept was brilliant , reminiscent of an old Hong Kong 80s action show "Women Warriors". The art by Pat Lee was dark , crisp and lively. Where it falls short is the story and character building which is pretty much the backbone to a good book.
I picked this up to read after spotting it in the library.It has a fantastic premise. The widows of a fallen army avenging their husbands and family.The beginning of the story is excellent. The scene is set well and then...Well, then it gets silly. Wolves with wings, crystal dogs that bark out tornado's.
