half of it was boring, the other half didn't add much to the story but it was fun anyway. just not as good as the other two books, in my opinion.
4 stars mean that my overall rating for the second book in the KKC series is 4.5 stars which is exactly what I would have given it if I had read it together as a one book. The writing is still brilliant and I love the story s much, the only thing that I didn't like was the Felurian episode and I felt that the whole middle part could have been put together in a better way.
Ugh keep it in ur pants kvothe
help where's the next book
The second part was still very enjoyable, but tbh I do not see how the third book could be the conclusion to the story without skipping a lot. I loved listening to Kvothe's story, but there is a lot happening in a short amount of time, and there seems a lot of time and plot left to cover. But that's not for me to worry about. I listened to this as fast as I could because I wanted to... well, hear the stories. And it was a delight. For me, what is being told in this case matters less than how it i...
Another great book that leaves the readers waiting for the announced (yet not published ) thrid part of the story. Please Patrick Rothfuss: do publish the continuation of the story!Maria Carmo,Lisbon, 2 August 2018.
Book 2 of the kingkiller chronicles. Solid fantasy with an unusual style to it. I enjoyed this book but there is a bit too much talk about sex and womens bodies in this one. I get that its a part of growing up but come on. Just made me uncomfortable, but maybe thats just me. I still enjoyed it and would love to read more.
sometimes this book is really good but... sometimes rothfuss !!! you need to choose what you want to do. Let's believe you dont fail your last book because if you do... i will find you!!!
This series is awesome!
Patrick Rothfuss writes so brilliantly, it feels wrong to be giving him three stars. But there were so many times in this book when I was just a bit bored, it seemed like all of the wrong scenes were so dragged out, especially the whole spiel with Felurian. This was especially frustrating as it followed right after an amazing action sequence in which Quothe pulled an awesome feat of sympathy and cunning and why are these cool moments so few and far between?! For the first time ever I amped up th...
It had potential to be one of the best. However I think that Felurian, the Fae World and even Ademre should have been more explored!! I was sad that Felurian had a minimal protagonism, because from the few parts we got to know, she had material and content to be further developed, making her an even more enticing character. The same applies to Ademre and the Fae World. Kvothe should have been able to explore more of this places. Being so different from Imre and the University, they would function...
I do love this Kvothe. He doesn't just talk about good times or bad times, but of the in betweens.
