An African Princess: Deasha's Wild Adventure

An African Princess: Deasha's Wild Adventure

Mark Casey
0/5 ( ratings)
Princess Deasha is on a quest to find the garden her father the king has told her stories about. She dreams of the garden and her mother. She convinces a friend, Babo, to help her on her adventure. The king, sensing something is up, directs a great solder to follow and protect the princess. Ebad the solder is a master at staying silent and hidden. His stealth is the best among the troops. The king doesn't know that Deasha's adventure will take her outside the palace and even outside the village. The group ends up fighting off wild animals and treacherous terrain. They didn't know it but an evil witch doctor named Zubolla was behind the animal attacks. He doesn't like the king or the princess, he wants to end their line and reign. This episode teaches Deasha what is important in her life. She also learns to over come some fears and embrace others. This journey is a fantastic view of how a young mind sees the world they live in. This is the kind of book that everyone can relate to especially African-American girls looking for a strong figure to relate too.
