This volume manages to be consistently entertaining despite the fact that it takes us back to the much hated (by me, anyway) 'Age of Apocalypse' parallel universe. No mean feat. It doesn't hurt that the art is solid throughout, despite there being a couple of mid-story artists changes.

Wow! This was a very entertaining, very compelling story. Some of my favorite comics produced in the last couple of years have been Remender's creator owned books.
