I'm almost half way done this book. So far, its really boring. ----> so i have finally finished this book and there are no words to describe how disappointed i am. the first five books were amazing!however this book kind of ruined the series.----> I guess you can say that I'm in between loving it and totally hating it. To be honest it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good at the same time... the book needed something more to make it more interesting ....
The flashbacks are getting more and more confusing. First of all, the author seems to get bored having to type out their full names. Andreas becomes Dre. Tomasia becomes Tomi and Giovanni becomes Gio. This is all fine and well (and very lazy) but later on when a character drops a huge bomb by saying "Andreas" I started flipping through the book trying to remember who that was. Oh yeah, Dr. Dre. Started a rap group with Snoop Tomi Tom and Lil' Gio. Why make an already messy storyline featuring ch...
Misguided Angel is the fifth book of the Blue Bloods Series. Instead of getting old it just keeps getting better..at least to me! This book in particular is told in 3 parts. There's Jack and Schuyler's story, which is about their lives on the run in Italy and trying to find one of the gates to the Underworld and finish Lawrence's mission. The second part is about Mimi and her status as Regent of The Conclave and how she tries to deal with some difficult obstacles thrown her way.And last but not
I feel strangely unsatisfied. I just finished Misguided Angel and my initial thoughts were that it was disappointing filler. The book doesn’t really have an ending. There is no resolution for any of the characters. Very little happens in the book. The only excitement was in the first section and it was short-lived. I couldn’t really remember why the main characters were in Europe or why they needed to run away from their captors. Perhaps too much time had passed since I read the fourth book, or
Reading this the second time taught me that I didn't like this one as much as I had thought. I originally thought that the previous book was my least favorite. However, I was wrong. This is why it's good to re-read series of books.I liked the first part of the book. I enjoyed seeing Jack and Schuyler's story. Even though it was short. I had actually thought they were in it a lot longer than they were. I still don't like Mimi. I get that she is hurt but seeking such revenge is sad. However, that
This is where the FUN BEGINS!5 Stars for this book. As in F.I.V.E.! FIVE!!!I can’t believe this myself, I never thought that this series’ll make me crave for more. It is this particular book that pumped all the existing adrenaline in me. I am so into this book right now and I must admit that I’m drooling out for the next book!!! How long do I have to wait for the next one to come?!!!!!!!!!!********************SPOILEROVERLOAD*****************************Okay back to normal review…The story was di...

I've never liked the series very much, mainly because of those clothes digressions and useless descriptions, but the story wasn't so bad, so I kept reading. I thought the author was just showing off a bit and well, it's not like I know much about fashion, so it was a little annoying, but I could just skip that and give for granted she knew what she was talking about. Now, here's the fifth book, and where are we? Italy, my country, apparently the new trend. I knew from the beginning it would end b...

Rating: ☺☺☺☺- Intense!Faster, Less Detailed Review: Misguided Angel is an intense fifth installment to the Blue Bloods Series, filled with new dilemmas; lots of suspicion; answer-seeking missions; significant legacies; dangerous, abrupt murders; seven demon-proofing gates of Hell; and...the Petruvian Order. Fans will love this severely action-packed fifth book and the blend of old and new characters coming forth, and will find that that Melissa De La Cruz did not disappoint.Summary of the book☆B...
Warning *Spoilers*I was fortunate to get a copy earlier as the release date in England was different. When I first read throught it I was shocked to see that a new character was brought into the story. The first section of the story was told in schuylers point and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the interaction between Jack and her. The second section was about Mimi she trys to push her feelings for Kingsley out of the way but is overtaken by revenge for Jack. She becomes the new leader
I don't know why I keep reading these books. I guess I keep assuming that each one will be the last, when each one really is just a set up for another sequel. Enough with series already! Not just this one, all of them! I would much rather read an 1,000-page novel than several shorter works. I had forgotten a lot since reading the last Blue Blood novel. There are so many ridiculous aspects of the Blue Blood society to keep track of. I felt lost most of the time. I also felt at times like I was re...
This was a filler book. The first half was okay and the second half of the book was much better. Oliver and Mimi working together was the most interesting part of this book and I really enjoyed those parts. Jack and Schulyer’s parts were only ok. The end sets up for Lost in Paradise well though and I am so glad Oliver and Mimi will be working together in that one! My quick and simple overall: quick and sets up for the next full book well.
3.5 stars. So far my least favorite in the series. Too much focus on Mimi and not much on the other characters. Plus, I wasn't a fan of the turn of events going on in the New York coven. Didn't hold my interest like the other books in the series.
