Rather enjoyed this tale set just before the U.S. Revolutionary War. The Black Coat mashes up Zorro and Batman, but keeps the villains from being too outlandish. A slight hint at romance and the war on the horizon hits that the creators plan further tales. Go along for a fun ride, and don;t expect a lot of characterization.
pre revolutionary war New England and a man of science fights for good wearing a mask, hat and black leather coat, throw in some magic and the redcoats and you've a fun read.
