My favorite of volumes #1-4 (haven't gotten to the others); not a weak story in the bunch, and exciting new (to me) writers to check out...
I think this was my favorite of all of them so far. It was cohesive as a collection, the stories all grabbed me (including Rick Moody's, much more so than when it was on Twitter -- I think some things are just not meant to be), and I liked the incidental artwork very much. One more to go -- is that it for my subscription?
Many of these short storied need to be read (or listened to) more than once to be fully appreciated. All are perfectly crafted. My favourite is the last where the protagonist tells of caring for his terminally ill ex-wife.
Electric Literature is my new favorite lit mag. These stories hit all the right notes and are so very memorable.
Their strongest issue yet. Really enjoyed every story, especially Aimee Bender's and Patrick deWitt's.
