E.M. Owsiany
0/5 ( ratings)
OSS officer Major James Stanton finds himself behind enemy lines deep in Southern Germany, one of his men seriously wounded, himself ill, and the knowledge that he and his men have been betrayed now abundantly clear. The major fights his way to get them back to the safety of England with the help of a nun from the convent they take refuge at. Along their journey she becomes aware of the undying bond that exists between the major and his men and that the major is the most intense, deadly and war-hardened man she has ever laid eyes on. Finally getting back to England, the major finds out from his close and personal friend General William Donavan, the head of the Office of Strategic Services, that he must take his men back to Nazi Germany for one last mission, while Donavan attempts to uncover the traitor within the organization.
