More Mysterious Island type story with some schlocky 50's B-movieness thrown in. This time Jana goes underwater to fight some Cthuhlu old gods. Lots of crazy monster and dinosaur fighting as well.
Sigh... dat ass. Before you accuse me of reacting this way, ask the artist why he dressed the main character in scraps of nothing tied together with thin strings. And then made her walk through mud, fight a tentacle monster and wear a skin-tight full-body swimsuit. I'm just looking for the story here. He corrupted me.The five survivors from last volume were whittled down to Mike alone. He and Jana were joined by her close friend Togg who wants to keep her safe and also has a chush on her. More sexy, cheesy, pulpy fun this time in an aquatic setting. Here Jana is captured by some mermen, offered up as a sacrifice to their sea-monster god and has to fight her way out. There's also a submarine and torpedoes involved. They don't write them like this anymore, but I'm glad someone is still trying. It's Jules Verne's best adventure tales mixed with E.A. Burroughs most fantastical tales and served with a healthy amount of cheesy camp. A perfect read for a Sunday afternoon and a guilty pl...

The art is even better here, with more crazy looking creatures and even more opportunities for Jana to pose in sexy positions. The big letdown here, Cho finally teases letting us in o...
Part One was silly enough, but this ditches any semblance of plot and is a rambling mess. And the ending makes zero sense.
The story continues and whilst it's a decent read I can't say there have been any real explanations yet! The art is excellent and overall it's a good enough read.
