This is a reprint of {William} Yates' map on a scale of one and a quarter inches to the mile and is produced on five large sheets with an explanatory page of the symbols used on the map.

The area covered includes Preston, Lytham, Blackpool Fleetwood, Pilling, Garstang, Ellel, Bleasdale, Kirkham and Poulton.

This copy has with it two large pages that have on them 'Lancashire Townships 1835' and 'Lancashire Churches and Chapels 1837' in addition to four large pages of contemporary field maps of the Fylde.
