'This is Not a Horror Story' is an arresting, unsettling and unpredictable read. All fifteen stories have their own dark charm and quirks. Though I enjoyed all of them, 'The Puppy Farm' and 'Wake Up, Miles' are the standouts for me. I was thoroughly entertained by the ambiguousness, the colorful characters, vivid descriptions and the otherworldliness that seep through the pages. Despite the title of the book, these tales are, unmistakably, of the uncanny and the morbid kind.
I am absolutely obsessed with this book! On a whim I decided to join their ARC team and I am so happy that I did! As soon as I picked up the book I was hooked on everything about it! I've always had a hit & miss relationship with horror novels but this one absolutely hit the spot and I can't get over how much I totally enjoyed this book! If you love all things horror, then this book is absolutely the book for you!
