I am Donald Roberts, an Operating Engineer and upcoming Author. My book is an introspective and spiritual look into my life meant to engage and entertain the readers while encouraging them to do the same with their lives. The book is meant to stimulate the mind and spirit, not only with words but in a visual aspect. To give you a sneak peek of the book, I once occupied a timeshare on the lovely oceanfront property known as San Quentin. Though my stay was brief, it was memorable. So much so that it's the theme for a chapter in my upcoming book titled: The Life and Times of Don Roberts vol. 1: Stare Into the Son. Though I had my minor run-ins with the law before, those instances hadn't prepared me for the experience set out before me. At San Quentin I would have to wholeheartedly live the motto "adapt and overcome".
