These books are INCREDIBLE. They follow Pip, a teenager who has to do a project for school. She begins looking into the murder that rocked their small town a few years ago, where Sal Singh supposedly killed his girlfriend, Andie Bell. But Pip doesn't believe he killed her. You're probably thinking of reading this book because its heavily recommended on booktok. Let me tell you this entire series is WORTH ALL THE HYPE! The writing style is different but so good. The story- all three books have their individual cases which Pip and Ravi solve in the respective books. But the author has done such a great job in connecting all the 3 cases and bringing it full circle in the last book. These books were amazing, I got through them all in three days. Pip was an amazing protagonist, and Ravi added just enough humor that he wasn’t annoying, he was endearing. My only critique was that the author didn’t write out okay, just ok. It’s just my personal nitpick, but it’s an issue I can look over with how amazing the story and characters and dialogue were. I hope to find more books as amazing as this one.
Amazing! Would 100% recommend the trilogy if you are a fan of murder mystery and crime. One caution is that there can be many touchy topics and maybe upsetting or too graphic for some. Overall a good read and very engaging.
All of these books were great!! I give them all 5 stars. However, I do wish there was another book. If not, then I hope Holly keep writing and publishing more books like these. I love her writing. I will definitely be reading these books again one day. Thank you for a great trilogy!
