Lundy and the Missing Six

Lundy and the Missing Six

Michael Franklin
0/5 ( ratings)
Les Carter arrives back in Boston, having spent eight years in a London prison. He had, with some reluctance, become associated with a criminal organization that had successfully robbed a London jewelry store of over nine million dollars, but had been arrested, becoming the only member of the gang to be tried and punished. Harry Shaw, the gang boss, has Les met at the airport. He has questions to ask. Les sabotaged the escape plane and it came down into the sea close to the island of Lundy. Being taken from the airport by two toughs to meet the boss, he diverts them cleverly and kills them. An ex-British Navy businessman, Chris Lambert, is visiting America. He picks up the anxious Les, supposing a car breakdown, and hears the whole story. Then, back in England, he tells the insurance company that had covered the loss where the stolen goods are. Harry Shaw, tracing Les, also knows where they are. The race is on.
